Where does an upper arm lift surgery take place?
Depending on the indication, the upper arm lift is performed on an outpatient or inpatient basis by our highly qualified doctors in our M1 Med Beauty Schlossklinik and, depending on the extent, can be performed under local anaesthesia, the so-called tumescent local anaesthesia, or under anaesthesia.
What do I need to be aware of after the procedure?
After the operation, the patient receives a special compression garment, which should be worn for six weeks. In order to achieve optimal results, physical rest is required for four weeks. After this time, light physical activity can be resumed.
It often takes time after plastic or cosmetic surgery in order for the results to become visible. With an upper arm lift surgery, you can expect to see immediate results: The excess skin is gone and the firmer line of the upper arm is immediately recognisable, even if the swelling and bruising that can occur has yet to subside.
