For all our patients who have had Corona:

> Treatments with hyaluronic acid are possible at the earliest from 4 weeks after the quarantine has been completed. If you still have long-term complications, we kindly ask you to cancel your appointment well in advance, as we will not be able to perform any treatments even then. Treatments with muscle relaxants are possible at the earliest 2 weeks after quarantine has been completed. If you still have long-term complications, please cancel your appointment as early as possible, as we will not be able to carry out any treatment at that time.

We carry out these measures for your protection and ask for your understanding

Hyaluronic acid (dermal fillers)

Please follow the rules below:

Taking children with you

The presence of children under 18 years of age is not allowed during treatments of any kind. However, adolescents over 14 years of age may wait in the waiting room on their own.

If you are accompanied by a younger child, only counselling is possible, as our staff is not legally permitted to supervise them.

Bringing animals

Animals of any kind are not allowed in our specialist centres.

When are injections with dermal fillers NOT performed?

⚠️ IMPORTANT!

We do NOT carry out injections in the following cases:

  • during pregnancy and while breastfeeding (possible again 2 weeks post-pregnancy/ post breastfeeding
  • in case of an actual allergy to bee/wasp venom and lidocaine
  • in case of a more severe allergy
  • in case of infected skin areas or herpes
  • during an infection
  • when taking antibiotics and cortisone over 7.5mg/d
  • at least 2 weeks after a previous operation, depending on the extent and course of healing also up to 6 months
  • in case of simultaneous treatment with botulinum toxin in the same injection area
  • after a vaccination in the last 2 weeks
  • after a Covid vaccination in the last 4 weeks
  • with a fresh tattoo, piercing or permanent make-up in the treatment area
  • in cases of multiple sclerosis
  • Immunosuppression with biologics or cortisone over 7.5mg/d
  • certain autoimmune diseases

In principle, treatment with hyaluronic acid is only possible after a careful medical individual risk-benefit assessment in order to keep the risk of complications as low as possible.
Due to individual circumstances, previous interventions, operations, pre-existing conditions or medication, injections may not take place immediately because certain safety margins must be observed, or possibly not at all.
Please arrange a medical consultation for this. Information on this may also be given by telephone when you make your appointment.
If you have already had injections or a thread lift, please find out exactly what you were treated with.

On the day of the treatment

Follow these instructions on the day of treatment:

  • Please eat and drink before the treatment to avoid unnecessary circulatory reactions
  • Please do not drink alcohol on the day of treatment

Before the treatment

What do I have to consider before the treatment?

If you have an allergy (check with your doctor)

  • At least 2 weeks before a hyaluronic acid treatment:
    • No infection / cold / herpes etc.
    • No antibiotic or cortisone intake (up to 7.5mg/d)
    • No tattoos (also permanent make-up / microblading) in the treatment area
    • No piercings
    • No laser therapy in the same region (depending on the laser also longer, please ask us!)
    • No invasive cosmetic treatments (such as microneedling, microdermabrasion etc.)
    • No dental treatments (depending on the treatment)
    • No vaccination/Covid vaccination

  • At least 6 weeks before a hyaluronic acid treatment:
    • No facial surgery (including dental surgery)
    • At least 6 months prior to hyaluronic acid treatment:
    • No major surgery on the face (e.g. nose, facelift)

After the treatment

What do I have to consider after the treatment?

  • Do not smoke for at least 4 hours after treatment.
  • Make-up only from the following day
  • No sports for at least 48 hours
  • No sauna, solarium or intensive sun for at least 1 week
  • At least 2 weeks:
    • No facial massage or invasive cosmetic facial treatment
    • No laser therapy in the same region
    • No vaccination / no COVID vaccination
    • No dental treatment (depending on the treatment)
    • No lipolysis on the body
    • No tattooing (also permanent make-up / microblading) in the treatment area
  • At least 6 weeks:
    • No major operations
    • No lipolysis on the face
    •  

For lip injections

Please observe the following rules for lip injections:

  • No hot drinks or food for at least 4 hours
  • Lipstick/lip care only after the following day
  • Do not kiss for 24 hours
  • In case of planned aesthetic or very complex dental treatment, we recommend an interval of at least 4 weeks, please ask our doctors on site or the staff when making an appointment.

For rhinoplasty

Please observe the following rules for nose corrections with dermal fillers:

  • No pressure on the corrected area for 2 weeks (e.g. from glasses, sunglasses, diving goggles).

How can I improve the result of the injections?

What you can do to ensure the result from your treatment:

  • Stay hydrated: drink at least 2 litres of water per day
  • Slight unevenness or bumps in the treated area can be gently massaged from the third day after treatment
  • If necessary, the treated area can be cooled with a cooling pad (not from the freezer!) after the injection. Please only do so for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time

Intervals between 2 treatments

Waiting periods for any volume increase with fillers with more volume than 0.2ml:

  • Volume build-up in the same region: At least 4 weeks
  • Volume increase in another region: At least 1 weeks
  • Skinbooster: At least 4 weeks

When changing to another product manufacturer, there may be different changeover times depending on the manufacturer (usually 3 months).
Please ask us when making an appointment so that any unnecessary inconvenience for you can be avoided.

Botulinum toxin (Muscle relaxant)

Please follow the rules below:

We do NOT carry out injections in the following cases:

  • during pregnancy and breastfeeding (possible again 2 weeks post-pregnancy / post-breastfeeding)
  • in case of infected skin areas or herpes in the injection area
  • during an infection
  • after a vaccination/Covid vaccination in the last 2 weeks
  • after recent surgery, max. 2 weeks
  • in case of simultaneous treatment with hyaluronic acid in the same injection area

Before the treatment

Observe the following rules before the treatment:

  • Laser treatment in another region can take place on the same day, but must then take place BEFORE the botulinum treatment.

At least 14 days before a botulinum toxin treatment:

  • No infection, cold, etc.
  • No laser therapy in the same region
  • No vaccination / no COVID vaccination
  • No facial surgery (including dental surgery)

Particular attention should be paid to sweat gland treatment with botulinum toxin:

  • No shaving in the area to be treated for at least 2 days

After the treatment

Observe the following rules after the treatment:

  • Keep your head upright for at least 4 hours
  • On the day of treatment
    • No alcohol
    • No make-up
    • No massaging in of the botulium toxin
  • No sports for at least 48 hours
  • No sauna, solarium or intensive sun for at least 1 week
  • At least 2 weeks
    • No facial massage or invasive cosmetic facial treatment
    • No laser treatment in the same region
    • No COVID vaccination

Intervals between 2 treatments

  • In order to avoid antibody formation and loss of efficacy, an interval of at least 3 months must be observed between 2 botulinum toxin treatments.
